        No germination at all
        I'm extremely sad to report that these did not germinate even with the warmer and grow lights. Perhaps I'll try again in the summer heat. I just saw another review that suggests these need to be super warm.

        Great for my climate
        They do take a while to germinate. However, I just tossed them in a huge barrel of soil outside, and after a long while they took. What I got was almost a trailing plant with wonderful spinach leaves all winter long.

        Interesting spinach
        I had never read about New Zealand spinach until this Winter when I was buying seeds for this Spring/Summer season.
